Our introduction

Dogs have always been a big part of our life.

Jukka has an experience of English Springer Spaniel already since 1978. He had Assica "Lippe" ja Hightide’s Your Tan Maid "Tancy" at home. There were dogs of mixed breed in my childhood home as well.

Hightide’s Leonardo "Sulo" arrived at us in March 1993 and lived with us as a beloved pet for ten years.

We got married in 1993 and held a proper wedding party with 450 guests. At that time INT & FIN & LV & LTU CH Hightide’s Man of Fashion "Viljo" joined in our family. Viljo was a-dog-bigger-than-life and we got a chance to experience many nice and unforgottable show and hunting trips with him. Viljo passed away in June 2004 and we still miss him very much.

In 1995 INT & FIN & LV CH LVW-00 Hightide´s Time Travellerin "Taisto" arrived at our bunch.

I started my 'show career' with Taisto. In our first show together the final result was 3rd best male and CC. Quite well from the new beginner! We had to put Taisto sleep due to unexpected disease in August 2001.

The greastest moments in show rings offered me C.I.B.& C.I.E. & NORD & FI & NO & SE(u) & DK & PL CH, NORDJW-04, NORDW-04-05-07-08, NOW-04-06, FIJW-04, FIW-04-05-06-08, EUW-06, WW-06-08, PLW-06, PZW-06, SEW-08 Benton One More Duck "Usko". We lost Usko to cancer in spleen in January 2009.

Our first Welshspringer was C.I.B. & FI & RU CH, RKFV-06 Benton Kings Cross "Pietu". Sadly we lost him to difficult illness in December 2010.

At the moment we have two springer males at our home; English Springer Spaniels FI CH Hightide´s Midnight Storm "Voitto" and NORDJW-05 Adamant´s Wind Of Change "Arvo".

We have house in the Herunen village in Nurmijärvi. It's 60 km to Helsinki and 10 km to Hyvinkää from here. We are surrounded by forests, so it feels almost like we live in the countryside. There is always some corner under renovating in our house which is built in 1975. We have a big homeyard where our dogs have a plenty of spac to run and play.

Dog shows were very near by my heart and my most important hobby. Innumerable amount of kilometres have I driven during the years and early waking up at weekend mornings is usual. Due to dog shows I have learned to know many breeds and met lovely people both here in Finland and abroad.

Now gardening, listening to music and reading belongs to my hobbies in addition to dogs. I works as a banking advicer in the Customer Service of Nordea Bank Finland Pb in Helsinki. Jukka´s hobbies are hunting, shotgun shooting and fishing. Motorcycling can also be considered as his beloved hobby. Jukka works as a transfer cordinator in the Helsinki-Vantaa airport.

Jukka has motorbike Harley Davidson at the moment. He spends often his holidays by driving and maintaining the bike.
